Pekiti-Tirsia Kali

Pekiti-Tirsia Kali is a Filipino combat martial art of the ancient indigenous “Katutubo” that has been incorporated with newer fighting methods devised in the Philippines. Elements from Western and Eastern martial arts are woven into the genesis for this combat skill-based system. Students learn to prioritize, allocate, and use on hand resources as a weapon. All skills transfer from edged weapons to open-hand techniques in combative situations.Pekiti-Tirsia Kali (PTK) has been called “the martial art of today” because this training system has only been allowed to be shared outside of the Philippines in the last 30 years, approximately. Pekiti-Tirsia Kali (PTK has application in true aggressive combat-emergent situations. The PTK system has an advanced structure that allows the student to adapt, overcome, and improvise as a training technique; PTK has a strong history of proven successful use. Special Forces units, law enforcement, military, and select civilian security train in PTK in order to: achieve understanding and awareness in the skill of offense, counter-techniques and bringing escalated situations to a quick complete conclusion.
